RIO Scandi Short VersiTip - Shooting Head

RIO's Scandi Short VersiTip is a very versatile head with interchangeable tips. This Scandi-head allows you as a fly fisherman to change the tip when the conditions change. The package comes with a 23ft long floating Scandi-head , and four 10ft long interchangeable tips, for a total length of 33ft. The tips included are:

• Floating
• Intermediate
• Sink 3
• Sink 6 

There is no shooting line included in the package, you have to buy this. We recommend RIO's Gripshooter, Powerflex or their metered shooting line.

Scandi VersiTip Short is best suited for rods that are 13ft or shorter, if you have a longer rod we recommend the regular Scandi VersiTip.

EasyID: Each line has a printed ID tag to easily identify it.

Front & Back Welded Loop: The line has factory made loops on both ends to quickly connect to leader and backing.

Density Compensation: Adds a thicker material on the sinking part that ensures the line sinks straight.

Connectcore

ConnectCore is RIO's core with ultra-low stretch, never more than 6%. This gives you a fly line with incredible feel and control.

Extreme Slickness

Extreme Slickness technology is a chemical solution that gives your fly line better glide and dirt-repellent properties.
