Guideline Fario CDC WF - Fly line

Calm, nice presentations and narrow rope bows, that's what this rope is all about. CDC is a line that has become a favorite of those on our team and among our ambassadors who fish for shy trout with light tackle in clear, small waters. You will immediately notice the very low diameter of this line. That helps it cut through the wind and present long leaders's with precision. By keeping the front taper quite short but with a well-balanced transfer of power, this line turns over long leaders in a controlled manner.

The relatively long head and back taper provide a narrow bow, helping you make any air corrections on the line during the final forward cast. This is because the line stays higher in the air all the way behind, than a line whose weight concentration is further back does. Keeping a good height during the cast will help you when you have bushes and obstacles behind, and is a great feature when you are casting from lower positions such as from a boat or a flotation ring. The smooth coating is tight and has a relatively high density to keep the diameter and wind resistance low, while still having enough buoyancy to keep the front part afloat.

The Guideline CDC WF is built on a braided multifilament core with 12 lbs breaking strength, and it has a very subtle 'spring green/grey' color in the headone. The pull line has a slightly "off-white" color that provides enough contrast to let you know where the transition between the two sections is located. There are small factory made loops at each end. headthe length is 11.0-12.5 meters and the total length is 25 m for class 2-4 and 27.5 m in class 5. The line box and spool are both environmentally friendly and compostable.
